Heavy Haul transports will occur during the following dates and times. SH87 northbound lane will be closed from SH62 to Orange County Airport.

A water quench tower was transported from our Marine Offloading Site (MOF) to our construction site in Orange, TX. This piece of equipment spans an impressive 162-feet long and weighs 1.3 million pounds. The tower travelled 2.5 miles during the road transport and was completed in 3 hours.

During a heavy haul transport, the northbound lane of SH87 between SH62 and Orange County Airport will be closed. The southbound lane of SH87 will remain open.
From Bridge City, traffic will flow normally on SH87 until the SH62 intersection. After the intersection, the northbound lane will be closed to all traffic. The southbound lane will be open for traveling south only.
From Orange, traffic will flow normally on SH87 until the Orange County Airport. After the airport, the northbound lane will be closed to all traffic. The southbound lane will be open for traveling south only.
Residences and businesses within the barricaded area can access their property from either Berwick Drive or by using a Heavy Haul flagger to cross the northbound lane.
All other motorists should use the detour routes, which are SH62 to FM105 and on Foreman Rd. to FM 1006.
